WOW, can you believe it is November already! Open House is this Saturday and Will’s Sharpening will be here to take care of your sharpening needs. Scissor prices start at $4 so please put your scissors in a ziplock bag with your money and name/cell phone on the outside. He will sharpen them during our meeting.
Please plan to stay and help us create Santa bags for OCJ Kids. This will be our 3rd year creating bags for them to use for the Christmas gifts received during their annual party, so they don’t have to use large garbage bags. The party is so siblings who are at different group homes can visit with each other. Bags are selvage to selvage wide and about 48 inches high, so if you would like to destash your Christmas fabric, please bring it with you. We need to finish the bags on Saturday, and I need to give them the gift bags before Thanksgiving as my time after that is taken by cookie baking. If you would like to deliver any finished gift bags directly to OCJ Kids, I can give you their information. We have sewing machines and sergers to use at the BTSCD office.
