2016 Back to School Clothing Drive 2016 Distribution event takes place July 18 – 21, 2016, at Grand Canyon University Arena. Over the course of the week-long event, more than 4,300 students in grades K-6 will descend on Grand Canyon University Arena for a day of shopping and excitement. Each day over 1000 kids from across the Valley from 140 schools in 30 school districts will attend, by school (no parents), and receive a haul of school uniform and supplies to help prepare them to return to school. Each child receives over $300 of school clothing. A total of over $2 million in clothing retail value will be distributed during the week-long event.
Bank of America sponsors Wednesday, July 20, and will have over 500 volunteers on hand! Back to School Clothing Drive will host a luncheon from 11 am – 1 pm in one of the Arena suites to thank our sponsors and introduce new people, sponsors, potential board members, donors to the organization. You won’t want to miss out!
