In keeping with the Federal and CDC recommendations, all Stitches of Love March events are being cancelled. This includes the sew day at 35th Ave Sew and Vac on Sunday, March 22, and sew day at our BTSCD office on Thursday, March 26. I will advise on April events at a later date.
All BTSCD employees are working from home so please do NOT go to the office to drop off items or pick up supplies. Also do not go to the Legacy office as they are also working from home.
As most of us are in this vulnerable age group (60+) or caring for someone who is, social distancing is very important. So, it’s time to sew up that fabric stash and knit/crochet your yarn stash (please remember no solid color or brown hats). When you deplete your stash, you can always organize and clean your craft area (I really need to do that!). I guess when everything is done and craft rooms clean, we can start our spring cleaning and plant our gardens. I really hope this doesn’t last long enough for me to go thru my stash as everything else is hard work!
