Hi everyone,

I wanted to give you the latest inventory and updates that we didn’t have when I sent out the reminder Open House email.

64 Santa bags were created at home by various volunteers, thank you all so much and OCJ Kids were very happy!

Attached is our latest inventory.  As you can see, there are a few categories where we are at goal already because we carried over inventory from 2021.  Thank you to those who took home skirt/top kits to create outfits, don’t forget that the skirts are not in our inventory so you will turn them in as a complete outfit.  We still have skirts left so we will continue to have these kits.  Please take a look at the inventory and see what we need.

Congratulations to Jo Hanson and Anna Vanscooter from the Sundial Crafters for being honored by the 3TV/CBS 5 Pay it Forward program.  They were presented with a gift card for $500!  They were already making plans to go to the craft store.  Please see the video on this link

We also had some very sad news.  We have lost one of our treasured sewists, Gloria Aronoff to a stroke last week.  Gloria has created clothing for the kids for many years and was instrumental in convincing me we needed to buy knits to make clothing for the kids.  She also made Barbie doll clothes for many gift baskets for the Gala’s we held several years ago.  She was officially known as the ‘Doll Lady’. She also created many items for the newborns at the Phoenix Indian Center.  She will be missed by all of us.

Helen Jackson’s husband and Nancy Shaub’s Mother have both passed. We send our condolences to both families.

Thanks again for all you do for the kids and we will see you on January 8.

Sandy
