Fashion Show Returns to 2011 Stitches of Love Gala!

We are still seeking the best fall date for our “Stitches of Love Gala,” yet one thing we know for sure is guests will be treated to the second annual live student fashion show!

This popular component of our fundraising dinner and auction features one-of-a-kind designs created and sewn by our Stitches of Love volunteers. More than 200 members of this generous group work throughout the year to make different styles and sizes of clothing and accessories for the children in our program. The fashion show highlights some of the items the kids receive each July at the “New Clothes, New Beginnings” distribution event.

“We have women throughout the state who choose to spend their free time at home creating beautiful hand-made items that anyone would be proud to wear,” said Seamstress Coordinator Susan Kirsch. “It truly is a labor of love.”
