Back-To-School Needs Your Support!
Please get involved. Your tax-deductible donation helps the lives of children in need throughout the Valley. If you are a corporate or foundation, please visit the Sponsorship section and determine the level of support your organization can provide Back to School Clothing Drive. We rely solely on the generous support of individuals, corporate, and private foundations. Add Back to School Clothing Drive to your annual corporate giving plan.
Corporate and Foundation grants to the Back to School Clothing Drive range from $5,000 to $250,000 annually.

- $25 buys three backpacks, $50 buys five pairs of pants, $75 buys a full set of school clothes: two shirts, two shorts/skorts, three socks, three pairs of underwear, one belt, one pair of shoes, and a backpack
- $100 buys a full box of school supplies
- $250 helps fund a SAFE matching grant
- $1,200 sponsors a class to attend distribution
- $2,500 funds a full SAFE matching grant
- $4,500 sponsors a school to attend distribution

Seven Ways you can support Back to School Clothing Drive
1. Sponsor a child. A donation of $70 provides new clothing, shoes, and a backpack filled with school supplies and personal hygiene for one child.
2. Volunteer your time to help at our Annual Distribution. The event takes place each July at the ASU Preparatory Academy in downtown Phoenix. Sign up for a single shift or the whole week via the volunteer section on our web site.
3. Sew for us in our Stitches of Love program. We have a team of over 200 dedicated seamstresses that make clothing for kids throughout the year. If you can’t sew, donate fabric and notions to our sewing Program or make key chains and bracelets for our children.
4. Take advantage of the Arizona Tax Credit for the Working Poor by donating up to $400 (married, filing jointly) to BTSCDA as a qualifying Charity.
5. Become a table captain at our Annual Dinner & Silent Auction and fill a table of 10. If you can’t fill a table, purchase a ticket to the event. Cost is $100 per ticket or $1,000 for table of 10.
6. Donate an auction item for our October Dinner & Silent Auction. Better yet, get your team together now and brainstorm ideas for creating a basket (e.g., coffee lovers’, movie lovers’, scrapbook lovers’, etc.) to donate to the auction. What a great team builder to meet monthly from now until October to raise funds to purchase Items.
7. Hold a sock or supply Drive. Challenge another team in your building to see who can collect the most packages of socks.
