This Unlocking the Future Gala will be held on July 15, 2015, during our Distribution Week in the very place where 5,000+ children will receive their free school uniforms, sneakers, backpacks and other necessary supplies for the new school year. Guests will network and dine in the setting of the actual event where the arena is transformed into a department store setting and then for the evening, into the Gala setting for our fundraising effort. You will see and feel what the kids experience first hand where they excitedly pick out their out new outfits, uniforms, sneakers, a filled backpack, books, even underwear and socks and dental hygiene items.

From books to socks and underwear, to sneakers to pencils and more, let us show you how it all comes together with your financial support. By the end of the week, more than $2 million in merchandise is given to kids in need.

For more than 48 years Back to School Clothing Drive has helped kids by providing the most fundamental items needed to support their education and learning school clothing, outfits, uniforms, backpacks and school supplies for children whose parents cannot afford to purchase these items. Without the proper attire these children are forced to stay home from school, many alone all day. Without proper schooling, how will they be successful in school? These children are our future leaders,if only we can give them a little help when they are most vulnerable and needy, we can change their lives.
